The Bay County Health Department released EMERGENCY ORDER 2021-01 ESTABLISHING PROCEDURES FOR THE CONTROL OF PANDEMIC IN SCHOOLS, PRESCHOOLS, CHILD CARE FACILITIES AND CAMPS.  The order clarifies several areas that impact our students and staff.  Here are some of the areas that it entails:

  1.  Masks wearing – Masks must be worn for the remainder of the school year while indoors.
  2.  Quarantine and Isolation orders are clarified.  (See order for details)
  3. The Order allows for individuals who qualify to be able to voluntarily take a rapid test to return to school or work from quarantine with a negative test.  (See order for details)

In response to this order and to continue to give our students and staff the greatest ability to continue in-person learning, we will be providing voluntary rapid testing beginning tomorrow, May 20 beginning at 7 a.m. until 8 a.m. in the Multi-Purpose room at Pinconning High School.  Testing must be done at this time in order to return to work or school.  A parent letter and consent form can be found below and will be available in all buildings.

Please contact your building principal if you are interested in testing.
