Pinconning Area Schools Employment Policy:

Non Certified Employment:
The application packet below needs to be complete prior to being
considered for non-certified staff employment.
An applicant must complete the attached information including the
authorization to obtain an ICHAT background check and PA189
unprofessional conduct check.
After the background check is complete, if the applicant wishes to
be called for substitute support work as noted on the application,
the applicant’s contact name will be sent to the individuals who
call for substitute support staff.
NOTE: If the applicant is called for such substitute work, the applicant
must visit the Administration office to complete payroll papers prior to
receiving a paycheck.
Utility Person Assists in the operation of the district in various utility level positions, including bus driver, custodial, maintenance classifications and other work as assigned. Six hours daily. Term position Monday through Friday on days of student instruction. Position starts 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after school is in session. Split shifts may be scheduled as noted per master contract. Must be a high school grad or have a GED. Minimum 10th grade reading level. Fulfill any testing requirements. Good character, sound personal habits, good work attitude and attendance record, physically fit. Able to work without supervision and maintain composure and self-control with staff, students and visitors. Must be able to operate all warehouse equipment and pass all required tests. Able to lift 75 lbs and perform heavy work on a regular basis. Must have a valid chauffeurs license within 30 calendar days and a good driving record. Must have valid CDL with PS license and air brake endorsement, and pass all of the required tests, such as physical exam, forklift endorsement with 30 days, state test and district test. Experience preferred in warehouse procedures, plumbing soldering, welding, carpentry, electrical, masonry, custodial/grounds duties, and lawn care equipment. Probationary rate of minimum wage to start. Step 1 is $11.47 or as noted under the current USW Contract. Eligible for Category 3 benefits as noted under contract information as noted under the USW Contract under the Business Office tab. Will Train!
Digital Literacy Teacher Elementary Michigan teaching certification. Technology or computer endorsement preferred. Acceleration of K-3 reading and digital literacy. Please visit the Administration office to complete the Livescan Fingerprint Request as part of the employment process. You can pay at that time, cash or check. Once we receive your fingerprints back in the District, you will be allowed to sub in the district.
You may not sub until we have your fingerprints on file. All employees must also complete safe schools certification.
