1-High School/Middle School Academic Intervention Specialist

Description:  Seeking a dynamic, experienced and innovative teacher to teach and oversee intervention strategies for At-Risk students at Pinconning Middle School and Pinconning High School. 

 The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:  ability to motivate adolescents and inspire a passion for learning; Bachelor's degree in education or literacy; knowledge of evidence-based programs, such as Renaissance Learning, Compass Learning, Illuminate; willingness to collaborate with staff to improve learning for all students.  Experience using data and assessments to inform intervention model/strategies.  Experience with overseeing budgets and personnel.   

 Qualifications:  The successful candidate must have a valid Michigan Secondary Teaching Certificate.  Administrative Certificate with a secondary Administrative Degree preferred..  In addition to qualifications as noted above, candidates must have successful experience teaching At-Risk students in the secondary level and experience with extra-curricular duties.

Salary Range:   Commensurate Upon Experience
