Bay City Noon Optimist

Tha Bay City Noon Optimist is seeking candidates for the annual Optimist International Essay Contest. This years topic is "Can Society Function Without Respect?". Saginaw Foundation Scholarships

One application, hundred or opportunities for ALL Michigan students. Apply today at SaginawFoundation.org. Applications are due February 15, 2018.

Michigan Elks Gold Key Scholarship

Renewable scholarship open to special needs students leaving high school and entering college. Eligible students must be physically handicapped or currently receiving Special Ed services. Applications are available online at www.mielksgoldkey.org deadline is December 1, 2017.


Print and Graphics Scholarship Foundation

To be eligible you must have the following: Must be pursuing a career in print technology, printing management, publishing, or graphic communications. A student who is enrolled in a printing or graphics program at a technical school. college, or university within the United States. Applicant must be a full-time student, and maintain a 3.0 GPA. Nathan Weidner Scholarship

Two year $1500 renewable award.  Must be a 2018 high school graduate, have a 2.0 GPA or higher, plan to be a full time student at Delta College, reside in Bay County, and demonstrate financial need.  Applications are available in the Counseling Office or online at www.NathanWeidnerFoundation.org , deadline is April 23, 2018.


MEA Scholarship

Must be a dependent of an MEA member in good standing or MEA-Retired member, graduate from a Michigan public high school and plan on attending a public four-year college, community college or vocational school.   Applications are available online at www.mea.org/mea-scholarship, deadline is February 22, 2018.


Elks

Elks National Foundation Most Valuable Student Scholarship. Any high school senior who is a US citizen is eligible for one of up to 500 awards. Applications must be completed online enf.elks.org/elks/mvs . Application Deadline is November 27, 2017, application must be received by this date.


Great Lakes Outdoorsmen Foundation Scholarship

$500 scholarship. Applicant must have a minimum of 2.5 gpa, and be attending a college, university, or trade school in the fall 2018. Must also have previously acquired a hunting or fishing license and are currently involved in hunting, fishing, or shooting sports. Applications are available in the Counseling Office, deadline is December 1, 2017.
