Scholarships


Great Lakes Outdoorsmen Foundation Scholarship

$500 to $1000 scholarship. Applicant must have a minimum of 2.5 gpa, and be attending a college, university, or trade school in the fall 2019. Must also have previously acquired a hunting or fishing license and are currently involved in hunting, fishing, or shooting sports. Applications are available in the Counseling Office, deadline is December 1, 2018. 


MEA Scholarship

Must be a dependent of an MEA member in good standing or MEA-Retired member, graduate from a Michigan public high school and plan on attending a public four-year college, community college or vocational school.   Applications are available online at www.mea.org/mea-scholarship, deadline is February 21, 2019.



Elks

Elks National Foundation Most Valuable Student Scholarship. Any high school senior who is a US citizen is eligible for one of up to 500 awards. Applications must be completed online enf.elks.org/elks/mvs . Application Deadline is November 15, 2018, application must be received by this date.


Delta Presidential Honor’s Scholarship

Covers two years of tuition, fees, and required books among other benefits. Must be a current graduating senior, be a resident of Bay, Midland, or Saginaw County, have an SAT composite of 1200 or higher, and plan to earn a transfer degree or an occupational degree. Applications are available online beginning October 1, 2018, deadline for applying is November 13, 2018.
