Mayors Scholarship Fund

16 scholarships available. Scholarships range from $200.00 to $1,000.00. Applicants must be a senior and plan to attend a college or university full time in the fall of 2016. Applicants must also reside in the Pinconning Area School District, but do not need to attend Pinconning High School. Applications are available in the counseling office. Deadline is March 15, 2018.

Sunrise Family Credit Union

One $500, $1,000, and $1,500 award. Must be a member in good standing at Sunrise family Credit Union, be a graduating senior, and be accepted at an accredited college/university or trade school. Applications are available in the Counseling office, deadline is April 30, 2018.

Charitable Foundation of Maier & Associates Financial Group

Must be a graduate of a Bay, Midland or Saginaw County high school and plan to attend a college or trade school in the fall 2018. Applications are available in the Counseling Office, deadline is March 9, 2018.

Albert Flegenheimer Memorial Scholarship

$2500 Award. Must be a high school senior graduating in 2018. Must have completed a Michigan Sugar Youth Project.  Applications available in the Counseling Office, deadline is March 31, 2018.

Chemical Engineering Scholarship

McCabe Charitable Foundation

Must be Jewish or Presbyterian students from Bay, Saginaw, or Mildand County, show financial aid, and plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at Delta College or Saginaw Valley State University in the 18-19 academic year. Applications can be found online at deadline is March 15, 2018.

J. Russell and Gladys Irene Carmell Scholarship Fund

Must be a U.S. citizen who have resided in the Tri-County, MI area (Bay, Midland and Saginaw County) for a minimum of four years prior to application, be in the top 25% of your class. Plan to enroll in full-time study at an accredited two or four-year college or university or a vocational-technical school for the entire 2018-2019 academic year leading to a degree in nursing. Bay City Morning Rotary Club

Ten $500 scholarships. Must attend a Bay County High School, and plan to attend a 2- or 4- year accredited college in the U.S. Applications must be completed electronically to and are available in the Counseling office. Deadline is March 30, 2018.

United Bay Community Credit Union

Bay Credit Union as of January 1, 2018.  Must plan to attend a post-secondary education institution. UBCCU employees, board members and their immediate family members are not eligible.  Application deadline is March 9, 2018.

Christine M. Betters Memorial Scholarship

$1500 Award. Must be a 2018 graduate of PHS, have completed 2 or more industrial technology classes or Career Center equivalent, and complete a personal statement of what you future goals in the trades and you plans to achieve these goals. Applications are available in the Counseling Office deadline is April 13, 2018.

Covenant Healthcare Foundation

Four $2,000.00 Scholarships to legal dependants of Covenant employees. Must have a minimum 3.5 GPA and intend, by fall of 2018, to pursue and undergraduate academic degree in any curriculum at an accredited college or university. Deadline is March 2, 2018.  

Delta College Scholarships

Must be attending or plan to attend Delta College and have a valid ID number. Scholarships are based on a variety of things including grade point average, enrollment status, major, and in some cases financial need. Apply online at, click on “Apply for Scholarships Now”. Covenant Healthcare Foundation

Six scholarships totaling $12,000. Must be a senior pursing a degree in the human medical sciences field or directly related to the healthcare industry, currently attending a Saginaw, Bay, Midland or Arenac County High School, and have a minimum GPA of 3.75. Bay Area Community Foundation

Scholarships for the 2018-2019 school year are now available! The application is completely online, and can be found at There are over 100 BACF scholarships, and with this one application you can apply for up to 15 scholarships (including the Bay Commitment scholarship for first-generation students).  Must be a graduating senior and live in Bay County.  Apply on-line at  Application deadline is March 6, 2018.

Bay City Noon Optimist

The Bay City Noon Optimist is seeking candidates for the annual Optimist International Essay Contest. This years topic is "Can Society Function Without Respect?". Scholarships are available to the winners, must be under the age of 18 as of October 1, 2017. More information can be found at

To be eligible you must have the following: Must be pursuing a career in print technology, printing management, publishing, or graphic communications. Nathan Weidner Scholarship

Two year $1500 renewable award.  Must be a 2018 high school graduate, have a 2.0 GPA or higher, plan to be a full time student at Delta College, reside in Bay County, and demonstrate financial need.  Applications are available in the Counseling Office or online at , deadline is April 23, 2018.

MEA Scholarship
