Principals Message:

I would like to thank all of the parents and students at Linwood for their warm welcome here at Linwood Elementary. This has been an exciting and eventful first half of the school year. The second part of the year will bring many exciting events and activities.

We will soon be celebrating "March is Reading Month". We have many activities planned, including an assembly and reading contests. Please make a point of reading 20 minutes with your son or daughter. We will be encouraging all students to read as much as possible during the month March.

I would like to thank all of the great volunteers that have helped out with our many activities at Linwood. We recently had a great turnout for our annual "Daddy, Daughter Dance". I will be adding pictures to the web of the dance. I will also be adding more pictures of students for other activities as the year continues.

A big thanks also goes out to our Linwood Parent Teachers group. They have helped in many areas and continue to assist our school and teachers. The (LPT) have helped with field trips, fundraisers, equipment purchases and many other things that help our students.
