Warm greetings to you and welcome to the 2008-2009 school year!  My name is Keith Wetters and I am extremely thrilled to have recently become the new Principal at
Mt. Forest Elementary School.

The staff and I are very excited that you have entrusted your child’s education to us.  We will make every effort to help your child achieve academically and socially this year.  It is our goal to create an enriching learning environment that engages the student.

Mt. Forest has an excellent teaching staff with a wealth of knowledge.  We also have an excellent support staff that work in different capacities to support your child’s learning.  Of course, as the first teachers in your child’s life we need your support and cooperation.

I encourage you to become active in our A.C.E. (Active Citizens for Education) parent group.  This strong group of parents help with enhancing the educational experiences for our children.

Finally, if your child needs additional support or if you have a concern please don’t hesitate to contact your child’s teacher, or me, whenever you have a question or concern.
