Warm greetings to you and welcome to the 2009-2010 school year! My name is Keith Wetters and I am the principal at Mt. Forest Elementary School. The first day of school will be Monday, September 14, 2009.

The staff and I are very excited that you have entrusted your child's education to us. We will make every effort to help your child achieve academically and socially this year. It is our goal to create an enriching learning environment that engages each student.

Mt. Forest has an excellent teaching staff with a wealth of knowledge. We also have an excellent support staff that work in different capacities to support your child's learning. Of course, as the first teachers in your child's life we need your support and cooperation.

It is our mission to support your child in whatever way we can. Mt. Forest is fortunate to have resources to support students and their families. Remember, "Working together makes a difference in the lives of our students."

On behalf of the entire staff at Mt. Forest Elementary School, we thank you for your support and cooperation. I encourage you to visit us during Meet and Greet on Wednesday, September 9, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The Meet and Greet is a great opportunity to meet our staff. Class lists will also be posted on that day.
