Delta College Foundation Scholarships

Must be attending or plan to attend Delta College and have a valid ID number. Tons of scholarships available! Scholarships will help cover costs not covered by Free Community College. Applications must be completed online at www.delta.edu/scholarships and the deadline is February 4, 2026.

Nathan Weidner Scholarship

Must be a 2026 or earlier graduate of a Bay County high school, or live in Bay County, have a 2.0 GPA or higher, plan to be a full time student at Delta College.  Applications are available online at delta.edu/scholarships, deadline is February 4, 2026.

Horatio Alger Scholarship

Awards range from $2500 to $25,000.  Must be a high school Junior or Senior, intending on pursuing a bachelor's degree, show financial need (preferably $100,000 or lower adjusted gross income) be involved in co-curricular and community service,  have a minimum 2.0 cumulative gpa and be a U.S. citizen. Apply online at www.horatioalger.org/scholarshipApplication deadline for Juniors is March 1, 2026 and for Seniors February 15, 2026.

Bay Area Community Foundation Scholarships

Scholarships are now available! The application is completely online, and can be found at https://bayfoundation.org/scholarship-programs/. There are over 100 BACF scholarships, and with this one application you can apply for up to 15 scholarships. Must be a graduating senior and live in Bay County.  Application deadline is February 3, 2026.

Great Lakes Outdoorsmen Foundation Scholarship

$1000 award. Applicant must have a minimum of 2.5 gpa, and be attending a college, university, or trade school in the fall 2026. Must also have previously acquired a hunting or fishing license and are currently involved in hunting, fishing, or shooting sports. Applications are available in the Counseling Office and available for download HERE, deadline is December 12, 2025.
