The Pinconning Area School Districts leverages the Google platform for student and staff success. All students have access to managed Google Workspace accounts and Chromebooks. At the 9th through 12th grade level, students are encouraged to take their Chromebooks home for use with homework and educational advancement.

The district utilizes the Blocksi management platform to monitor and filter Chromebooks both on campus and off, promoting student safety and CIPA compliance. During out of school hours, parents are encouraged to sign up for the Blocksi parent portal for further oversight of their student's device at the 9-12 grade levels. Features of the parent portal include monitoring, additional site blocking, and time frame blocking to disable access on the device after a certain time.

While we understand accidents can happen, occasionally there are cases where intentional or repeated damage can happen to these devices. In those cases, we are required to collect fees for said damages. The fee schedule can be viewed below:

Chromebook repair/replace parts list:

• Broken Screen - $50

• Lost/Damaged Charger - $40

• Damaged Motherboard - $75

• Damaged Keyboard - $50

• Full replacement of Chromebook - $200
