On Friday, February 20, Pinconning Area Schools experienced a night to remember as nine staff members from Central and Linwood Elementary traded their classrooms for aprons at McDonald’s - Pinconning.
From 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., the team enthusiastically took on a variety of roles during the McTeacher Night fundraiser. The restaurant was filled from start to finish, with both the lobby and drive-thru bustling with activity. Every seat was occupied by students, parents, grandparents, and community members who came out to show their support and share in the fun.
“This McTeacher had a good time,” said Mrs. Deb Szafranski, reflecting on the evening’s success and spirit of camaraderie.
Thanks to the incredible turnout, McDonald’s will donate 20 percent of the evening’s proceeds to benefit Central and Linwood Elementary Schools. The event not only raised valuable funds but also strengthened the connection between the schools and the greater Pinconning community.
The district extends its sincere appreciation to Dave Williams for recommending the event and to Jennifer Pickett and her McCrew for their outstanding hospitality and partnership.

Their hard work, positive attitudes, and welcoming smiles helped make the evening a tremendous success.
