June 8 was a busy and productive day at PHS as student volunteers partnered with the Sterling Area Health Center to help organize and distribute a truckload of food to local families in need.
The Sterling Area Health Center staff were impressed by the strong turnout of PHS students who willingly volunteered their time and energy, even in the hot summer sun. Together, the volunteers sorted and distributed essential food items, including milk, eggs, bread, frozen foods, potatoes, and boxes of dry goods.
By the end of the event, food had been provided to 201 households, benefiting a total of 547 individuals. The day served as an excellent example of the generosity, work ethic, and community spirit demonstrated by PHS students.
