I am Alaina Backus and I am elated to join the teaching staff at

Pinconning Central Elementary as a 5 th grade teacher.

I recently completed my education and student teaching training

at Ferris State University.

When I am not in my classroom you can usually find me

traveling, spending time with friends and family and cheering on

Detroit sports.

As an educator, my main goal is to create a welcoming and

supportive classroom where every student feels valued,

confident and excited to learn and grow.

I cannot wait to partner with families and watch your wonderful

children grow and learn together over the coming months.
