📚 Pinconning/Linwood GSRP Students & Families Explore the Library 📚

On March 11, the Pinconning/Linwood GSRP students and their families took an exciting trip to the Pinconning Library, where they had the opportunity to explore the world of books, discover new stories, and sign up for their very own library cards!

The visit aimed to introduce young learners to the joy of reading while encouraging family involvement in literacy. Students eagerly browsed through shelves filled with colorful picture books, listened to stories, and learned about how the library works. The librarians provided an engaging tour, explaining how to check out books, use library resources, and participate in upcoming reading programs.

“The children were thrilled to pick out books and see all the exciting things the library has to offer,” shared a GSRP teacher. “Getting their own library card made them feel like real readers!”

For many families, this event was an opportunity to spark a love for books at home. With their new library cards in hand, students and parents were encouraged to make library visits a regular part of their routine, reinforcing early literacy skills that will benefit them for years to come.

The Pinconning GSRP thanks the Pinconning Library staff for their warm welcome and dedication to fostering a love of reading in young learners. This visit was just the beginning of many literary adventures to come!
