Mikaela, our special visitor, recently brought in chicken eggs for our students to care for and observe as they awaited hatching. This exciting, hands-on experience gave students the opportunity to learn about the life cycle of chickens in a meaningful way.
During her visit, Mikaela taught the students about the different colors of eggs and where they come from. She also demonstrated how to carefully check eggs for cracks, helping students understand the importance of proper handling and care.
Just in time for Easter, the chicks have hatched—bringing even more excitement to our classroom! 🐣 The students have loved watching this special process unfold and are eager to continue learning each day.
We are grateful to Mikaela for sharing her time and knowledge with our classroom—thank you for such a wonderful and engaging experience! 🐓📚
